Allison and family,
It has been many years since I met your father. I enjoyed the Christmas music during the service. Whenever I see candy canes, I will think of the Sharpe family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

John, Allison and Susan, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I too have wonderful memories of your family and playing in the carport. I remember skining my knee one time and your father "fixing it" for me. He truly loved having all us kids around and was a wonderful man.

John and family,
My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Although I never had the chance to meet your father, it was obvious to me that he was a great man, as he raised a great son who is clearly devoted to his family.

Allison and George, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this great time of loss. May it comfort you to know that he is not alone but busy greeting those that passed on before him. He is meeting our savior, Jesus! He is in a better resting place now, no pain anymore only peace. His seems to be a wonderful father, husband and provider and his life is shown by the love you have for him. I know it is hard, may God comfort you with his peace. Lean on him and take in the love everyone has for you. We love you! Sheryl and Chris Hill

While we did not have the privilege of personally meeting Mr. Sharpe, we have had the honor of getting to know and love Allison and George Peterson. It has been a joy to pray for your father, Allison, and to know that he is with our Lord, Jesus Christ. We pray the peace that surpasses all understanding for your family.

I have so many memories of the Sharpe family. Mel and John were so welcoming of their children's friends, boyfriends(and in this case the boyfriend's family). My life has been blessed to have known John Sharpe. The more I go through life,I know things happen for a reason and God puts people in your life that will make a difference. I learned about camping from Mel and John, and I loved to listen to the stories John told. He was the best hugger too. The Winn family is so sorry for your loss and hopes you know we love you and are grateful for the Sharpe family friendship.

When we look back through our lives there are always certain people that we remember as having "made a difference" in them. To me that was Mr. Sharpe. The father of my best friend, Susan, he was kind, caring and entertaining. I have so many wonderful childhood memories from time spent at the house to those wonderful summer camping trips to him teaching us to drive the pickup truck up at the farm. We may mourn our loss but also praise God that he accepted Christ and find peace that he is in Heaven reunited with his beloved Melanie.

It was such a wonderful privilege to know Mr. Sharpe. His humor surprised us, and his generosity inspired us. We praise the Lord for his sincere Salvation and Baptism. We pray that the Lord will grant great peace and joy to his whole family.

I am very sorry to hear about your father. He taught me the phrase "Do you have the audacity to doubt my veracity or even insinuate that I would prevaricate on such an insignificant subject as this?" Do you remember that, Susan? He was a very nice man.
