John W. Shide, 58, of Goodland, tragically passed away, November 12th, 2024 from heart complications shortly after his surgery.
John was born on January 6th, 1966 in Lafayette Indiana as the youngest child of John J and Emma Shide who preceded him in death.
He is survived by: son, Vince, brothers, Joe, Steve, and Pete, and sisters, Kathy and Rose.
He was farm-raised into the man we knew and loved as he attended and graduated from South Newton High School with the class of 1984. He chose to further his education to become a mechanical technician at a trade school in Wisconsin. John would spend his free time playing his guitars to his large collection of music or watching television with his cats asleep in his lap. Although he will be dearly missed by his many family and friends, none shall forget his love and kindness. May he rest in peace.
A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 between 5pm and 7pm CST.
