Wava Ilene (Noe) Ward

Wava Ilene Ward, 83, of Clinton, IN, passed away March 13, 2025. She was born May 20, 1941 in Paoli, IN the daughter of Henry and Bertha Noe. Wava was preceded in death by her parents, several sisters and brothers, beloved son, James Ward who passed in August 1984.

She is survived by her siblings, Henry and David Noe, Debbie Martin, brother in-law, Bill Bertram as well as four sons, Carl (Cindy) Ward, Phillip Ward, Mike (Tina) Ward and Willie Ward as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought joy to her life.

Wava spent most of her life in Bessemer, AL and Goodland, IN. She was known for her love of gardening, attending yard sales and enjoying old Western shows. Wava was also a devoted fan of Alabama Crimson Tide as she often cheered them on with great passion.

Wava’s family will remember her fondly for her sense of humor, warm heart and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank George Ade Memorial Healthcare Center for their love and support over the past year and a half.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 4-6pm (CST) until the hour of Memorial service at 6 pm (CST) with Rick Gerts officiating.
