Courtney L. Riley, 48, of Terre Haute passed away on Wednesday November 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She was born in Terre Haute on January 26, 1977, to Michael Ray and Darla Jean (Wright) Crossley.

Courtney was a South Vermillion High School graduate Class of 1995. She married the love of her life and best friend, Jason Riley, on December 20, 1997, in Clinton. Courtney was a member of Maryland Community Church in Terre Haute. She enjoyed taking family vacations, weekend trips, going to concerts and taking long drives with her husband in their sports car with the top down. Her favorite thing in the world was spending time with family and friends, and she loved being a "Weemaw" to her beautiful grandbabies.

Courtney was preceded in death by her father Michael Ray Crossley, her paternal grandparents Frank and Jo Ann Crossley, maternal grandparents Lil and Max Hartman and Donald Wright.

Those left behind to remember Courtney is her husband Jason Riley of Terre Haute, sons Kobi Riley (Darien) of Terre Haute, and Kendal Riley of Terre Haute, her mother Darla Crossley of Clinton, brother Michael Crossley (Lani) of Clinton, grandchildren Lilia Harvey and Sutton Riley, nieces Reagan and Harper Riley, nephews Landon Mundy (Katie), Bradley and Carson Oliver and numerous friends that were like family.

Honoring Courtney's wishes cremation was chosen. There will be no service. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Frist Funeral Home.
