John was a bobcat operator and the proud owner of Shriver Construction Services and Advanced Bobcat and Landscaping.
He never knew a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his father, John V. Shriver; his mother, Roen Springfield; his sister, Rebecca Davis; and his brother, John V. Shriver.
John is survived by his daughters, Sherrie Belge and Tammy Shriver; his brothers, James Shriver and Timothy Shriver; his sisters, Renee Evans and Darlene Shriver; and his grandchildren, Terry Wayne Young, Jayden Allen, Brooke Kittles, Braylee Kittles, and David Higginbotham
