John Anthony Slanina, age 88, passed away on April 18th, 2025. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and came to Florida from Long Island, New York.
John is survived by Lorraine Slanina (Wife), Anthony Slanina (Son), Donna Slanina-Ongley (Daughter), Reyanna Stills (Granddaughter), and Dean Stills (Great Grandson).
John was a devout catholic. He served in the United States Army. He worked in the United States Postal Service and Evergreen Woods Retirement Home. He retired in 2002. He loved football, baseball, fishing, eating Italian food, and spending time with his family.
John and Lorraine married April 17th, 1971 and the birth of his children followed on April 6th, 1973, and January 30th, 1977.
He will be deeply missed.
