Mr. John David Smith, Jr, 39, of Williamsport, died Monday, September 22, died at UPMC, Harrisburg.
Born July 27, 1986, in Washington County, he was the son Melissa May Moats Smith of Williamsport, and the late John David Smith, Sr., who died on October 17, 2015.
John was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, and was a mason by trade.
He enjoyed reading, and spending time with his family, especially his nephew.
Surviving, besides his mother, are two siblings, Chad Smith and companion Omega, both of Hagerstown, and Marissa Smith of Williamsport; his nephew Quaysean; his maternal grandfather Charles Moats of Hagerstown; and several aunts and uncles, including his uncle Charles Moats of Hagerstown; and several cousins.
In addition to his father, John was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Orpha Moats on June 6, 2019; and an uncle, John Miller.
The arrangements are being handed by Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Private services will be held at the family’s convenience.
