John Smith Obituary

Born on January 14th, 1974, John was a sweet and playful soul whose warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His smile could light up any room, and he greeted friends and strangers alike with genuine excitement and care. John had a deep love for God, his family, and the simple joys of life.
He was preceded in death by Anna Kasten and his sister, Brenda Kasten. He is survived by his loving mother, Dolores M. Smith, and his sister, Dawn R. Carter. John also leaves behind 11 adoring nieces and nephews, each of whom cherished his loving and joyful presence in their lives.
John found happiness in the everyday: a cold Coca-Cola, a fan or paddle, a roll of duct tape, and reruns of his favorite shows-Three's Company, Murder, She Wrote, and The Golden Girls. His compassion extended to both people and animals, and his life was a testament to the beauty of a generous heart.
John was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched with his laughter, kindness, and unwavering love.
A celebration of John's life will be held on June 28th at 3:00 PM at In His Grace Community Church, located at 8950 Lapeer Rd, Avoca, MI 48006. All who knew and loved John are welcome to attend and honor his memory.
