John Sylvester Speten

John Sylvester Speten, age 78, died on March 31, 2023. He was born on December 18, 1944 in St. Paul. He was a Red Arrow driver. John attended Mechanic Arts High School and served in the Army. Funeral services for John will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11th at the Swanson Funeral Chapel in Pine City. A time of visitation for friends and family will be held 1 hour prior to the service. The interment will take place in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. John is survived by his daughter Deanna Fulweiler, son Aaron Wagenius, and grandchildren Kelsey, Ryan, Kyle, and Cameron. He is also survived by his sister Michelene Miner and aunt Ona. Preceding John in death were his mother Ruth Speten, wife Theresa Speten, brother Ardyce Van Wert, brother Dennis Van Wert, brother Arthur Speten, brother Kurt Speten, and sister Dianne Speten.
