John Lanier Sprawls, Sr. was born on July 13, 1938 in Georgetown, SC. Visitation will be held on October 28, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at McMillan Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, SC. Memorial Services will take place on October 29, 2023 at 2pm at Risen Christ Lutheran Church. John attended University of the South in Swanee, Tennessee, Newberry College, Georgia Southern University, and University of South Carolina. In memory of John, donations can be made to Risen Christ Academy at 10595 North Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC.
