John J. "Jack" Stephans

John "Jack" J. Stephans, age 72, of Salem Township, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. He was born on December 10, 1950 in Braddock, to John G. and Rita P. (Nehrig) Stephans, who preceded him in death. Jack was the beloved husband of Georgette Stephans and beloved father of John G. Stephans. He was the brother of Donna Dowd (Tom), Jean Kavanaugh, Carol Appleby, Rita Stephans, Gregory Stephans (Donna), Mark Stephans (Brenda), Daniel Stephans (Colleen), Christine Miles (Jerry), and Noreen Roy (Robert), and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jack was employed by Westinghouse - East Pittsburgh and then by IBM. He loved to hunt and fish, and was quite an outdoorsman. A Blessing Service was held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at the Bash-Nied-Jobe Funeral Home, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont (724-468-8381). Interment was private. www.BashNiedJobeFuneralHome.com.
