John “Jack” Sulham, 76 years old, of Millbury sadly passed away on Sunday, January 7th, 2024.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Eleanor J. Sulham, three loving daughters, Lori Hardaway, Jodi Sanchez, Ami Sosa and three sons-in-law, Lee, Rigo, and Dennis. His memory will be cherished by his six grandchildren: RJ, Mateo, Mahnzo, Christopher, Carlos, and Gabriella along with five great grandchildren.  Jack will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Jack was a supervisor at the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority, he had an associate degree from the former Worcester Junior College, and was a proud veteran of the United States Army and member of the Dudley Gendron American Legion Post 414 in Sutton.

He worked side by side with his wife becoming a master carpenter (minus a few fingers) to accomplish his wife’s dream to own her own antique/craft shop. There they built an everlasting bond over the last 23 years creating a one-of-a-kind relationship. He was an avid supporter of his daughters and grandchildren by attending all their sporting events. Labeled the honorary coach of his daughter’s volleyball team on Tuesday nights. The pride he had as a Veteran shined through as he developed a deeper bond with his youngest grandchild going to veteran events. He continually was the Uber driver of our family allowing us to all get safely to any destination no matter the time or place. There was never a day that he did not have an English Muffin with peanut butter, a Dunkin Donut coffee, and a bowl of popcorn.

To respect Jack’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. In place of this he wanted us to have a Celebration of Life where we could get together to share memories and the good times, we had with him.

We will be having the celebration at Leo’s Ristorante located at 11 Leo Turo Way, Worcester (which is off Shrewsbury Street) on Saturday, January 13th from 1:00 to 4:00. They are providing valet parking for all guests free of charge.

Please come join us in celebrating his life.
