John Troglio, 86, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital.
John was born in Clinton, Indiana on June 14, 1936 to the late Louis and Theresa (Peradolto) Troglio. He honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1956 until 1963. John retired from Keebler Cookie Company after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ. John enjoyed going to rummage sales. His outgoing personality and giving heart gave him the gift of never meeting a stranger and always helping out his neighbors and anyone in need. John cherished the times that he pent with his family, especially with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.
John is survived by his daughters, Vicki Brown (Calvin) of Savannah, GA, Debbie Ventimiglia (Mel) of Fishers, IN and Nancy Gunther of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Christopher Brown (Julie), Kara (Bob), Farah Red, Katie Kern (Kyle), John Ventimiglia (Cintya), Beth Hoover (Brad), Jacob Gunther (Rachel) and Anna Ventimiglia (Nathan Gabrek); and ten great grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Harletta "Hedy" Mae (Jones) Troglio in 2013; daughter, Patty Werner; his parents; brothers, Barney and Mike Troglio; and son-in-law, Dennis Gunther.
Graveside services will be held tentatively at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 1800 St. George Rd., Evansville, IN 47711 with Rev. Calvin Brown. The Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military honors.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

In loving memory! John, was a member of our team that served Sunday breakfast to the neighborhood at St. Lucas. A good friend. We will miss you and your sweet kitty, but are comforted knowing you are with your beloved Hedy in heaven.
