John Usher Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 20, 2011.
John "Ryan" Usher, 27, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Savannah after a courageous battle with Melanoma. Ryan was born in Savannah, GA on June 14, 1983. He was a 2001 graduate of Sol C. Johnson High School and had worked for SSA Cooper as a Stevedore for the last five years. He loved with a fierceness that was unparalleled. When most would seek comfort, Ryan sought to comfort. He was fearless and never gave up. Heaven now has the funniest angel. Ryan is survived by his parents, John and Cathy Usher; brother, Neil A. Usher; niece, Ansley M. Usher and a host of extended family and dear friends. A celebration of Ryan's life will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
