It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father. John Allan Veal Born on June 13th 1956 in Milford, De. He passed away on June 5th 2024. He was 67 years old. He was from Denton, MD. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones.
Mr. Veal was the son of the late LJ Veal and Mary Emily Veal. John worked many years in the Local Union and then retired. John loved watching birds, fishing, wood working, going to the slots. He was a very handy man he could fix anything. He enjoyed watching boxing, wrestling, football, and cash cab. He loved laughing and enjoying life like it was his last moment. He knew every solution to every problem except his own.
He has survived by his two daughters Carrie Anne Harris (Brett) of Delmar, DE. Mariah Kay Veal (Shade) of Denton, MD. John had one granddaughter Kiersten Harris he adored her and loved her dearly. She held a special place in his heart she was Poppop's girl.
John had one living brother Larry Veal (Joyce) of Denton, MD and one living sister Jeanie Ewing (Bruce) Hillsboro MD.
John had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. John in his younger years raised children like his own, he was like the neighborhood dad. He had a very special great nephew Gage Lituski they would fish together and go for walks, go to the park and spend time together.
John was predeceased by his late wife Linda Sue Veal. One grandson Linden S Meadows. One brother David Veal, two sisters Linda Jane Veal and Karen Alice Veal. One nephew (Buddy) Larry Veal.

John was a good hearted man. We would always talk about his past times. He always had stories and he loved to joke. I'm gonna miss John. The last time he spoke you told me you was moving to fkordia and you was excited. If I was sad when you seen me you always made me laugh.
