John G. (Jack) Vogler, May 27, 1943 – Feb. 7, 2026.

It is with great sadness the family of Jack Vogler announce his passing on Feb. 7, 2026. The loving hands of God have lifted up Jack. He was a father, grandfather, husband, brother, friend, veteran, accomplished golfer and artist.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Pamela J. Vogler and sister, Betsy Nuttall, both of Rio Verde, Arizona; brother, Robert Scott Vogler of Chicago, and children Carolyn J., John K., S. Scott, and W. Rogan Vogler of the California bay area. He was the grandfather to Brandon, Evan, Mae and Wes Vogler, who lovingly called him Grand Pop.

Jack was born May 27, 1943, in Harvey, Illinois, to John H. and Elizabeth J. Vogler. He served in the Army in the 1960s and later graduated from the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, and the New York Academy of Arts and Design. His education led him to a career spanning 62 years in the graphic design and branding fields where he served in positions including designer, creative director and global chief professional officer.

Jack can be best remembered for his love of golf. He started playing golf in his early teens at Edgewood Valley Country Club in La Grange, Illinois. Through the years he played some of the finest golf courses in the world. Many courses in Japan and most notably The Old Course at St. Andrews, Scotland. He was dressed for the occasion as he stood on the iconic Swilcan Bridge. At Tonto Verde, he was most recently the Commissioner of the Friday Blues. He will be greatly missed by all his golf buddies.

He was also an avid and talented painter and enjoyed oil and water-color mediums of landscapes that typically depicted the beauty of the Southwest, and Taos, New Mexico, the Rocky Mountains and Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.

Jack's family will be forever grateful to VerdeCares for providing him resources and care during his final months and days. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to VerdeCares, the Tonto Lending Closet, or Hospice of the Valley in memory of Jack.
