John Voracek Obituary
Memorial services will be held at Boldt Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Friday, April 11, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Matthew D. Lane officiating. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday.
John George, son of James Sr. and Angela (Malecha) Voracek, was born on June 12, 1945 in Owatonna. He proudly served in the United States Army in Vietnam. During his career, he was a sales manager at Sellner Manufacturing and a manager at The Modern Bar, ending his career at Foldcraft where he retired.
Following retirement, John enjoyed working at the Country Club in Faribault. In his spare time, he loved spending time golfing, bowling, trips to Las Vegas and his red corvette. He was active in the community as a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Moose Lodge 2098.
John is survived by his significant other, Ruby Osborne; daughters, Teasha Archambault of Faribault and Kristal (Nate) Sevcik of Faribault; grandchildren, Nicholas, Rylan, Kale and Mia Archambault, Mason, Ian and Elli Sevcik; brother, Roger Voracek of New Prague.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Robert Voracek and James Voracek, Jr.
