John "Jack" M. Weaver Jr., age 91 years, of Plymouth, died Friday, October 31, 2025 at Life Care Center in Plymouth. He was the husband of Donna M. (Bailey) Weaver, and the son of the late John and Edith (Reynolds) Weaver. Born in Medford, he made his 43-year career with the United States Army National Guard, retiring in 1994 as a Chief Warrant Officer. To keep busy in retirement, John managed the Enlisted Men's Club at Camp Edwards, and worked at Ocean State Job Lots in Kingston and Plymouth. John was a quiet man, who enjoyed reading or watching westerns, NCIS and game shows on television, and working jigsaw puzzles.
He was the father of Chyrle Wohlman and her husband Todd of Stevensville, Montana, the late Chrystene Weaver, Brian and Kevin, both of Everett, and the grandfather of Tyler, Wesley, and Naoise Wohlman. He was the brother of the late Warren, Jacqueline and Russell Weaver.
A funeral service for John will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 at the CARTMELL - DAVIS LIFE CELEBRATION FUNERAL HOME, 150 Court Street, Plymouth MA (near downtown) at 11:00AM. Visitation with the Weaver family will be from 10:00AM – 11:00AM. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Plymouth. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Chilldrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Shrines Children's Hospital, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114
