John Weisinger Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 30, 2025.
John Claud "Jock" Weisinger, 61, passed away on September 12, 2025, in Springville, Utah. Born on December 13, 1963, in Ely, Minnesota, John lived a life marked by dedication to service-both to his country and his community.

A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, John served with honor before retiring as a disabled veteran. His commitment to duty continued beyond his military career when he joined the United States Postal Service. Over the years, he worked diligently as a post carrier, steadily rising through the ranks to become a supervisor and ultimately serving as postmaster. His work ethic and leadership left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.

John was deeply devoted to his family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Lori Weisinger; his children Wes Spring, Tyler Spring, Logan Spring, Trystan Weisinger, Rhianna Weisinger, Travis Spring, Kyra Spring-Weisinger, and August Spring-Weisinger; and his grandchildren who brought him great joy. He also leaves behind two brothers, Rick Weisinger and Rex Weisinger; his sister Brenda; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish their memories of him.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Weisinger, mother Imogene Wiesinger, and brother David Weisinger.

Those who knew John remember him as a loving and giving person whose kindness touched many lives. His strength through adversity and unwavering generosity were hallmarks of his character. John is now at peace and pain-free in the hands of God.

May his memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved him. John Weisinger
