John Wheeler Obituary
Mr. Wheeler served in the Navy during the Korean War, then returned home to earn his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University Of Rhode Island, and would go on to work as an engineer for the Army Natick Labs. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed skiing.
He is survived by two sons, John P. Wheeler, and Thomas R. Wheeler, both of Blackstone; his grandson; Thomas J. Wheeler of Blackstone, as well as, his sister-in-law Walterine Deraleau of Blackstone. He was the brother of the late Donald, Richard, and Margaret Wheeler.
His funeral will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 beginning with visitation at 9:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles, Farm St., Blackstone. The family kindly asks that flowers be omitted.

John was a second grandfather to me. I owe alot of my childhood to "pa" and "nana". They will be greatly missed. Rest in paradise john

John was a great guy and father many great times at there home as a kid rip to him and his wife Jane condolences to Jack and Tommy from Brian Ladouceur and family.
