John Daniel "Danny" White

John Daniel "Danny"  White, age 74, passed away early Monday, February 5, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina and lived in Savannah for several years before moving to Brooklet. Mr. White taught school for twenty years at Groves High School where he and his team won first place in 1995 in a statewide competition between high schoolers. He  enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his yard, and following the stock market daily. In his spare time John loved working with homing pigeons and was awarded the “best bird” award for the area between Charleston and Brunswick. 

Survivors include his wife, Dianne Ramsey White of Brooklet; his daughter, Wendy (Brian) Crosby of Rincon, Ga; his son Byron (Jamie) White of Stilson; five grandchildren, Daniel Crosby, Caitllan Desimas, Kelsie White, Claire White, Caleb Smith; and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 5:30 PM- 7:30 PM at Deal Funeral Directors.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Shriners Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
