John Willett Obituary
John Stanton Willett, age 79, passed away on October 25, 2024. He was born in Key West, Florida on July 20, 1945, to John H. Willett and Harriet Stanton. John was a Manufacturing Engineer. He had an Associate's Degree from Elgin Community College, BA from National Louis University and Master's from Keller Graduate School of Management. He had a long career with Eaton Corporation and also spent time working for Siemens and Shure Brothers.
John loved hunting and fishing and won numerous trap shooting awards. He shot 100 straight in trap shooting. He proudly served in the United States Airforce where his team was awarded two Outstanding Unit Awards.
John is survived by daughters, Christine Willett and Michelle Foster (Keith) and sister, Susan Boldan and family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary T. Willett (nee Traversa).
Donations in John’s memory may be made to the nature conservancy in Arkansas (nature.org) or American Diabetes Association (diabetes.org)
