We first met John A and Carolyn when we lived at Beacon Hill Village years ago and became instant friends. I´ll always picture him riding his golf cart back and forth from the dock stopping along the way to chat with friends and neighbors always with a smile on his face and funny story to tell. We will especially miss his hot pepper jelly that he so freely shared with his friends. I have yet to find one that even came close to his. He will be missed by many. RIP John A....till we meet again. John and Donna

One beautiful afternoon while John was cruising around topless in his stylish blue golf cart our paths crossed and we had this exchange - Me: " John, on this $20 bill find the name of a U.S. President, a dairy product and the name of a movie". After staring at the $20 bill for what seemed like an eternity, John says: "the president is Andrew Jackson, I don't know the answer to the other two, tell me"....I tell him "the President is indeed Andrew Jackson - as I tear the $20 bill in half, I tell him the dairy product is Half & Half, and as I throw the money in the air I tell him the movie is Gone With the Wind"...the look on his face was priceless. From that day on for as long as I can remember the 2 halves of that $20 bill were attached to the steering wheel of his golf cart. Just one fun memory of this amazing, hilarious, kind man that I am honored to have had as a very dear friend. RIP John, you will be missed and always loved by many!
