John Wootton was born in 1951. His dad was in the Airforce so John was able to live in both Germany and Japan for some time. Once graduating high school he joined the Navy and continued to travel across the globe on the USS Albany visiting; Italy, Germany, Greece, Japan, Norway, Scotland, Spain, The Netherlands, Cuba, Curacao, Haiti, and Puerto Rico. After the Navy he lived in California nearby his mom and sister and became a super fan of the San Francisco 49ers. He met his first wife Wendy Suierveld through a mutual friend. The two got married in 1994 becoming a family including his new step daughter Rachel Aguilar. A few years later in 1998 John had twins, Timothy and Allison Wootton.
John and his family would eventually move to South Carolina and then to Ohio. During these years John lost his mother, sister, and his wife. Life was unfair to him but he continued on strong as a single father. After a few years he would meet his second wife Irene online and the two would go on to get married. Once his twins graduated high school he retired from his job at Lenscrafters and moved down to Florida.
His retirement was relaxing, he was able to enjoy the last few years of his life. He would brag often about not having to shovel snow anymore. As he got older his health declined and he peacefully passed just three days after his 73rd birthday. Leaving behind his wonderful wife, Irene Wootton, and his children. Although it is painful to lose him, we can take solace knowing that he is finally able to be with all those who he had lost again.
