John T. Wyllie, 80, of Cody, passed away at Cody Regional Health on April 23, 2025.
John Thomas Wyllie died on April 23, 2025 at Cody Reginal Hospital. He was born to Jock and Eleanor Wyllie on Sept. 12, 1944 in Cody and lived here his whole life. He attended Eastside Elementary and both Cody Jr. and Sr. High Schools. He graduated in May 1962.
John married Sally Ann Fedell on April 4, 1964 and with this 61 year union, they were blessed with three children; Shannon, Tony, and Justin. Six grandchildren; Hunter, Skylar, Dylan, Brooklyn, Bevan (Erin), and Megan (Salvatore). Three great-grandchildren; Elise, Sienna, Griffin, and baby Cambria, who is expected to arrive in June.
John worked for Celotex Corp. for 10 years in Cody before going to work for UPS. He was a package delivery driver for 36 years before retiring and doing what he always did best wetting a line, rippin' lips, casting lures, fishing!
John is survived by his wife Sally, sons Tony (Lynn), Justin (Jodi), and their families. He is also survived by his twin sisters Martha Ann (P-Wee) and Cora Mae (Sweet-P), too many to name nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Shannon, his parents, three half-sisters, Carlene, Gretchen, and Ruth, his in-laws Rose and Dominic Fedell.
Funeral services for John are Monday April, 28 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church 1333 Monument St, Cody, WY 82414 at 11:00am, with rosary at 10:30am. A luncheon will be served after mass.
