You don't know me but I went to ISU with John. We were in the "pilot" program for Safety Management. John, Lisa, Larry and I worked together on all of the group projects assigned. I enjoyed working with him and his knowledge about safety was over the top. I am so sorry for your loss. I was shocked to see this obituary. John was a young man and he accomplished alot. I'm sorry we all went our separate ways after ISU but I'm sure he was happy...and you and your family were happy. Prayers for your family. Betsy Sibila (class of '89)

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Johnathon Wengel during his time at bp wind. His kindness, wit and charm will never be forgotten. He spoke so highly of each or his daughters and on a few of our travel trips we would proudly exchange pictures of our kids with each other. He always spoke fondly of his wife, Crystal and of her career and life as a working mom. He enriched my time at bp wind and I know he made a profound impact on so many. Hugs and love to the Wengel family aa you mourn his loss. Love, Elizabeth Chirayil
