Johnette Debarry Boone

Johnette Debarry Boone, age 61, of Tift County, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

She was born on October 27, 1964 to Johnny Debarry and Erma Manning Barnett. She had a special gift when it came to arts and crafts- she had the ability to turn nothing into something spectacular and create beautiful arrangements and pieces. She was able to use this talent as she was the former Head Florist for Michael's in Albany- as well as in her personal life, sharing her creations with family as Christmas gifts and other events throughout the year. She had a heart of gold and loved big- especially her family and fur babies. Her caring heart led her to be a foster parent for 9 years- always striving to keep siblings together.

Survivors include her husband- Dwayne Boone, children- Connie Keen, Gabriel Keen, and Harley Keen, mother- Erma Barnett, sisters- Becky (Chad) Seymour and Rose Keen, sister in law- Shirley (Lance) Griffin, and several nieces and nephews.

Johnette was preceded in death by her father- Johnny Debarry, brothers- Carl Jr. Hilty and John Hilty, and brother in law- Clarence Griffin.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at New Life Tabernacle Church in Sylvester (752 Douthit Rd, Sylvester, GA 31791) with Pastor Gordon Poole officiating.
