In Loving Memory of Johnice Delores Thomas
Feb 11th 1943 - Mar 26th 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Johnice Delores Thomas, who departed on March 26th 2025 at the age of 82. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose kindness, strength, and love touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born on February 11th 1943 in Springfield Ohio, Johnice Delores Thomas was the heart of our family. She dedicated her life to her family, work at Mercy Medical Center and home projects like sewing and crafting. Whether it was through her warm embrace, wise words, or unwavering support, she had a way of making everyone feel seen, loved, and valued.
Johnice Delores Thomas is survived by Kimberly Thomas, Abigail Bayard, John and Maria Thomas, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She is now reunited with her husband Patrick R. Thomas, father and mother John and Emmalene Stewart, and brother Sherman Stewart.
Her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will continue to inspire us every day. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in the countless beautiful memories we shared and the lessons she imparted.
A celebration of Johnice Delores Thomas's life will be held on April 7th 2025 at [Location]. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Springfield Regional Medical, in her honor.
Mom, your love was our foundation, your laughter our joy, and your strength our guide. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace.
