Johnnie Lewis Faulk, age 78, passed peacefully and surrounded by family on

Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Baptist Hospital. He was born on November 3,

1946, in Evergreen, Alabama, and called Jay, Florida his home for all of his life. Johnnie

was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Johnnie lived his life with humility, kindness, and a deep compassion for others-guided

by his belief in Jesus Christ as his Savior. We will miss his warm smile, his generous

heart, and the way he made every gathering feel a little more complete. He was a

constant presence and a source of quiet strength, with a sense of humor that brought

smiles to his family and friends. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy of love and

kindness will live on in the stories we share and the lives he touched.

We take comfort in knowing that Johnnie is now in the presence of our Heavenly Father, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him and welcomed with the words,

"Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:23)

He is survived by his beloved sisters Jennie (Houston) Watson, Peggy (John)

Henderson; daughters Kimberly Ann Knupp and Barbara Ann Dean; grandchildren Kyle

Knupp, Sean Linezo, Christina Linezo, Sharon Hong; nieces Cathy (Daniel) Corum,

Elizabeth Watson, Amy (Seth) Shell; Chelsea (Keith) Stansfield; nephew Michael

(Megan) Watson, special great niece and faithful caregiver Kara (CJ) Ambrose; along

with several great nieces, great nephews, cousins and loved ones who will carry his

memory in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his parents Irene Diamond and

Bernie Faulk; his wife Betty Louise Faulk and brother Leonard David Smith.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Jay

Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will take place following visitation from 2:00 PM-3:00

PM, followed by burial at Crain Cemetery in Milton, Florida. We invite all who knew him

to join us in prayer and remembrance, and to give thanks for the blessing of his life.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Corum, Hunter Heaton, Heath Watson, Payton Watson, CJ

Ambrose and Sean Linezo.

In our sorrow, we cling to the hope of the resurrection and the promise of eternal life.

Until we meet again, may he rest in the peace of Jesus Christ. He was deeply loved and

will never be forgotten.
