Johnnie Hugh Taylor III, age 30 of Murfreesboro, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Johnnie was born on April 26, 1995, in Tullahoma, Tennessee to Traci Ann Weddington and the late Johnny Hugh Taylor Jr. Johnnie, also known as "Boog" or "Baby Johnnie" to his family, was a gentle young man with a heart of gold. He was a 2013 class graduate of Holloway High School in Murfreesboro, where he played football. He was baptized at a young age at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Nolensville. Johnnie had a need for speed and lots of thrill; and you could find him riding motorcycles and roller coasters. Most of all he treasured the time spent with his mother, brother, and friends. Preceding Johnnie in death was his father, Johnny Hugh Taylor Jr.; grandparents, Deborah Ann and Johnnie Hugh Taylor Sr.; great-grandparents, Athen Jr. and Annie Myrtle Bean, James and Jeanette Taylor, and Virtie Estill; aunts, Candace Weddington, Joy Bean Martinez; uncles, Don Bean, Athen T. Bean III; great uncles, Thomas Taylor, Mike Taylor, G.W. Taylor; great aunt, Alice Taylor; and cousins, Saniya Bean and Robert Taylor Jr. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, mother, Traci Coble (Andre); brothers, Jeremy Hughston Taylor, Justice Hayden Taylor; grandmother, Karen Williams; aunts, Tisha Brannon, Tyra Taylor-Hayworth; uncle, Jason (Angie) Weddington; great aunts, Beverly Wilkerson, Punkin (Victor) Carden, Jimmie (Tony) Taylor, Annette (Scott) Mosley; great uncles, James (Cynthia) Kincherlow, Theodore Taylor, Joseph Taylor; special cousins Diamond Taylor, Tyreke Hayworth, Shayla Burnette, Allyssa (Zach) Hannah, Faith (Tyler) Simmons; and stepbrother, Pryce Shook. He also leaves to cherish a host of cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on from 2pm-3pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025, with funeral service following at 3pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
