Johnnie Mae (LeCroy) Tully-fondly known as "Jackie", 89, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH surrounded by the love of her family. Born on September 5, 1936, in Troy, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Fannie Mae (Tierney) LeCroy and John Thomas LeCroy. Jackie grew up in Troy as one of eleven children, a childhood that shaped her strong spirit, work ethic, and deep sense of family devotion.
Jackie dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked as a nurse's aide in Massachusetts, a role she took great pride in and one that reflected her kind and nurturing heart. Even after retiring from nursing, she remained active and continued serving in the community while working at Walmart in Portsmouth, NH. For the past 25 years, she made her home in Epping, where she enjoyed a peaceful and fulfilled life. She had formerly resided in Georgia, Massachusetts, and Louisiana.
Family was the center of Jackie's world. She was the proud mother of eight birth children and one foster child, and she poured her love into each of them. She will be deeply missed by her children: Elva L. Moss III "Buddy", Victoria Warner and her husband Mark, Brenda Pellerin, Rita Kendall and her husband Richard, Brendan V. "Vinny" Tully III, and John Coco. She is also lovingly remembered by her late sons, Frank Moss and Douglas Moss, and by her late foster son, Thomas Makepeace.
Jackie was blessed with a large and ever-growing family, and nothing made her happier than being surrounded by them. She was the cherished grandmother to 22 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 36 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandmother to one adored great-great-grandson. She found joy in tending to her flower gardens, searching for antiques, and creating a warm and welcoming home where everyone felt loved. Above all, she treasured time spent with family-sharing stories, laughter, and the simple presence of those she loved most.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 5:30–7:30 PM at Brewitt Funeral Home 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Prospect Cemetery, Epping, NH. A reception gathering with the family will follow in the church hall at St. Joseph Parish, 200 Pleasant St., Epping.
