Johnnie Warren was born to late Lena and Herbert Warren on April 20,1926. He was married to Everlena B. Warren, to this union three daughters and five sons were born. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He was member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church until his health declined. Johnnie was a Dairy Man for many years and later worked for the Town of Franklinton until he retired. He would often say if he stopped working, he was afraid his health would fall so he kept on working after retirement until he had no other choice but to quit.
Johnnie leaves behind his six children, Mary (Alvin) Hart, John (Joann) Warren, Angie (Eddie) Coston, Claudia (Henry) Crossley, Donald (Vanessa) Warren, and Gregory Warren; one brother, Amos (Myrtis) Warren; one sister, Asaline Wilson; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Johnnie was preceded in death his parents, Lena and Herbert Warren; two sons, Terry and Jessie Warren; nine siblings, Cleo Magee, Ester Lee Warren, Roosevelt Warren, Gano Warren, Ollie Mae Magee, Oscar Warren, Ezekiel, Collin Warren and Herbert Warren, Jr.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Causey - Pastor Officiating. Interment will be held at the Warren Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Franklinton are in charge of arrangements. Please sign guestbook at www.crainandsons.com.
