Johnny was born in Dallas, Texas on
December 24, 1956, to the union of Leon and
Stella Harper. He attended Woodrow Wilson
High School. He accepted Christ at a young age.
He is preceded in death by his parents
Leon and Stella Harper and
sisters Clara Hood Jones and Linda Harper.
He leaves to cherish memories:
his brothers, Bobby Hood, Robert Hood and
Leon Harper Jr.; his sisters, Brenda Harper,
Debbra Jones Beck, Shirley Harris and
Mary Harris Simpson and a host of
nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Johnny didn't have any children of his own,
but he played a significant part in raising some
of his nephews, nieces, great nephews
and great nieces. Johnny loved the color red,
music, movies and family events.
