Mr. Johnny Bell "Jb" McGill

Mr. Johnny Bell McGill was born on February 27, 1943, to the late Ralph Neal, Sr., and Rosie Lee McGill in Concord, Georgia. J.B. as he was affectionately called by family and friends received his formal education at Pike County Consolidated High School in Concord, Georgia.
Mr. Johnny Bell McGill accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. Mr. Johnny Bell McGill was united in holy matrimony with Ms. JoAnn Stinson. Their union was blessed with five children. After their divorce, he met and married Ms. Mary Walker-McGill.
J.B. was employed as a Truck Driver for Crown Trucking Company for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed playing and coaching baseball, fishing, watching Nascar racing, he was always the life of the party, the thing he loved the most was spending time with his family and friends.
On Friday, August 30, 2024, Mr. Johnny Bell "JB" McGill entered the Heavenly Gates knowing there will be no more sickness, pain, or suffering, only everlasting joy with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Neal, Sr., and Rosie Lee McGill; two sons, Jonthan McGill, and Jeremy McGill; sister, Rosa Emma Smith, and his nephew, Victor Smith.
Mr. Johnny Bell "JB" McGill leaves a lasting legacy, full of loving memories his wife Mary Walker-McGill; three children by his first wife, Jeff McGill, Teremy (Harry) Seweelam, and Johnny "Chuck" (Brandy), Jr., 12 grandchildren, Jonthan White, Kenyatta McGill, Tamara Beckham, Ashley McGill, Jovon McGill, Tyesha (Derrick) McGill-Washington, Gregory (Zinah) Knight, Rae'van McGill, Jasmine McGill, Jada McGill, Brodey McGill, and Carlie Jo McGill; 3 sisters, Lorell Neal, Luddie Maude Owens, and Helen Owens; brother-in-law, Claude "Shorty" Smith; he also leaves a host of brothers, sisters, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss his giant size spirit.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, fr0m 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Burden's Funeral Home. A Celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 2:30 PM in the Chapel at Burden's Funeral Home. The body will lie state one hour prior to the service hour. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery. Rev. Milton McGill is the Eulogist.
