Johnny D. Pendergrass

Johnny D Pendergrass, age 77, of Springfield Missouri. He passed away July 23,2023 in Springfield Missouri at mercy hospital. Johnny was born in Aurora Mo to Emmitt Wade and Marylee (Retha)Jackson Pendergrass on February 25, 1946.
Johnny was the owner and operator of Fair Grove trash service. He ran the business until he retired and passed the service down to another family member.
Johnny married the love of his life Faye J. Coker on 07-23-1966. To this union one child was born, Terry L Pendergrass.
Johnny was preceded in death by his son Terry, parents Emmitt and Marylee (Retha) Pendergrass and brother Don and sister Katie.
Johnny is survived by his wife Faye of home; granddaughter Sharee of Springfield, Nikki Emerson and husband Eric of Holiday Island, Arkansas; and Kathy Emerson of Springfield; daughter in law Rhonda Pendergrass of Springfield; brothers James from monett, Doug and Linda of Springfield, Mike and Petra of Springfield and sisters Pam of Conway and sherry of Texas. Great grandchildren Jaxson and Ryker Hilburn, Bella,Beck, and Bryce Emerson. Blake and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Johnny enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved to be outside and tinkering around in his garage.
Johnny will be missed all who knew and loved him
Visitation will be held Saturday July 29,2023 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Walnut Lawn funeral home. Services will be following the visitation at 10:00am.
