Johnny Lee "Sain" Robinson, a Lifelong resident of Prichard, Alabama, passed away at the age of 70. He was born to the union of Robert James Robinson and Marie Lee Williams Robinson.
Johnny attended Mobile County Public Schools and later worked for Gulf Lumber and the USS Alabama Battleship. He was also a skilled auto mechanic; known for his mechanical insight and willingness to help others. Over two years ago, Johnny confessed Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, was baptized, and became a faithful member of Mount Carmel Church Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Carl Bolden.
Throughout his life, Johnny touched many hearts with his kindness and talent. He brought joy to countless people by helping them get "back rollin" with their vehicles and never failed to put a smile on someone's face. Johnny was truly worth knowing. and he will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert James Robinson and Mamie Lee Robinson; his brothers, Willie James Robinson. Jimmy Lee Robinson, and Hiawatha Robinson Sr.; and his sister, Joan Pettway.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memory: his special friend, Shanavia Burpo; daughters, Cedora Burpo, Ramonica Burpo, Tenesha Burpo, Taryn Grimes, and Aviona Peoples; grandchildren, Brooklyn Wilson, Rodrick Wilson, Tru Wilson, and Precious Burpo; brother, Ivan Robinson; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
