Obituary published on Legacy.com by Best Funeral Services Phoenix on Jan. 30, 2025.
In Loving Memory of Johnny "Gordo" Adam Sandoval
Johnny Adam Sandoval, lovingly known as "Gordo," was born on January 21, 1988, in Phoenix, Arizona, and passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2025, at the age of 36. Johnny was the beloved son of John Aviles Jr. and Teresa Sandoval, and the proud older sibling to Alex Aviles, Leeandra Sandoval, and Kassidy Aviles.
Johnny spent his life in Phoenix, where he built deep connections with friends and family. He was known for his passion for food, which he made a career out of in the food industry. Johnny's love for a good meal was matched only by his enjoyment of music and spending time with the people who mattered most to him. Whether he was hanging out with loved ones or enjoying a delicious dish, Johnny brought warmth and laughter to every room he entered.
Johnny was also known for his dedication to hygiene, always maintaining a clean-shaven look and taking pride in his appearance. He was fiercely protective of his family, showing unwavering love and loyalty to those closest to him. A fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Johnny's enthusiasm for his favorite team was just one of the many ways he embraced his interests with passion.
Johnny's memory will live on through his family and friends who will always remember his caring nature, his love for life, and his infectious spirit. He leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, laughter, and cherished moments.
Johnny is survived by his parents, his siblings Alex, Leeandra, and Kassidy, along with countless extended family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
