Mary Kratzenberg Obituary
Warm-hearted, gentle and generous of spirit, Mary Ann instinctively cared for others and made everyone around her feel seen, appreciated, and welcomed. A devout Catholic, she carried her faith with quiet grace, letting it guide her with humility and kindness throughout her life.
Family was the center of Mary Ann's world. She is survived by her loving husband, William Kratzenberg; his children, Rea (Chris)(Sarah, Christopher) and Buzz, his children and grandchildren (Kiley, Will and Kana) and their Great Grandchildren (Dakota, Danny, Bella,
GiGi, Matthew, Kayce, New Baby, Liam and her beloved daughters, Dawne, Kristi & Dori. She was a devoted grandmother to Steven, Jessica, Katherine (Kate), Quinn, Josephine (Josie), Kiley, Sarah & Christopher.
Mary Ann also leaves behind her cherished brothers and their wives-William & Mary Shepke, Joseph & Anita Shepke, Frank & Tina Shepke and her sister-in-laws Cathy Lauer and Dolores Bradley -each of whom held a special place in her heart.
In her younger years, Mary Ann expressed her creativity through sewing and homemaking, lovingly making clothes for her daughters and filling their home with warmth and beauty. She loved to sing-her voice soft and full of feeling-and she had a lifelong affection for her cats, who brought her constant comfort and joy especially, Kitty.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the gentle way she made any house feel like a home. Her legacy of love, faith, and generosity will continue to shine in all who were blessed to know her.
Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
