Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Johnny Earl Strickland, age 86, of Four Oaks passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held-11:00 AM Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Four Oaks City Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Beasley. 

Mr. Strickland was born on September 23, 1938 in South Carolina to the late William David and Kathleen Holmes Strickland. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Irene S. Johnson and Mary Ballou; brothers, James Strickland and Paul Strickland; and many other brothers and sisters. Prior to retirement, Mr. Strickland was an electrical engineer and the owner and operator of Southern Electronics, an international electronic parts company. He has been described by his family as a precious man with a heart of gold who was the “go-to” person in his family for questions about almost anything. He was an accomplished business man and a true southern gentleman who loved to travel, loved cars, especially Cadillacs, loved classic movies and westerns, and had a dry sense of humor that his family adored. He will be missed by all who knew him. 

Surviving includes his children, Alexandrea Moore and Johnny Earl Strickland, Jr.; granddaughter, Victoria Pace; nieces, Lara B. Massengill, Sasha Lynn Beasley and husband, Michael, and Angela Coats; nephew, Al Lee Coats, Jr.; and many other nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am prior to the service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
