Johnny Thornton Obituary

Johnny was born June 1, 1950 in Foster, KY to the late Oscar and Annabelle Johnson Thornton. He was self-employed and farmed. Johnny was a member of the Angus Association. He was a member of the United Methodist Chapel Church in West Union, OH. Johnny loved going to yard sales and flea markets. He loved spending time with family and friends, telling jokes, and having a good laugh. He was always getting into the craziest dilemmas his with son.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela McFarland from Brown Co., OH and his son John Michael (Hevan) Thornton of Dover, KY; four grandchildren, Cheyenne(Brian), Taylor (Caleb), Tapanga (Chaise), and Tinley; four great-grandchildren, Ryder, Scarlett, LuLu and Rayna.
He is also survived by two brothers, Calvin and Ozzie; three sisters, Ethel, Marcella and Lisa; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a very special granddaughter, Oliviah Jade Thornton; three brothers, Clarence "Bub", Jack, and Crawford; and two sisters, Evelina and Betty.
Private graveside service for Johnny will be held privately at Brooksville Cemetery. Services will be provided by Moore and Parker Funeral Home.
