Jolynn McDowell Obituary
She was born September 28, 1956 in York, PA. The daughter of Rose S. (Stewart) Heaps and the late Wm. Clase Heaps.
Jolynn worked as a tax analyst for York International for 30 years, and later Perform Group, Vertex and Creative Planning. She was a member of the Victory Club, Vigilant Club and Girard AA. Whether it was family, friends, or coworkers, Jolynn always brought great joy to those she interacted with. Her great big smile, positive attitude and infectious laugh touched people to their core. Including her husband and mother, Jolynn is also survived by two sons, Scott W. McDowell and wife Kayla, Timothy C. McDowell and wife Jennifer, three grandchildren Levi, Jonah, and Evelyn, as well as two sisters Jan Sunday and Jeri Miller.
Following cremation, a Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday 1/17/2026 at New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Rd. Delta, PA 17314. Visitation with family will be from 9AM -10AM. www.nccchurch.com

I have many good memories with Jolynn. Our years together as co-workers are special and our friendship was full of laughs and also a shoulder to lean on. Thank you for that laugh and smile Jo, it made everything brighter.
