Jon "Bud" Orr Obituary
Jon "Bud" Michael Orr, 85, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Hartselle, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born on January 20, 1940 to the late Ruis and Anniebelle Clemons Orr, Bud was a member of Enon Baptist Church. He was a steel painter for many years before retiring, and enjoyed spending time with his family when he wasn't fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Andrea Johnson Orr; daughter, Carol Bolger; grandson, Shaun Bolger; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sue Carol Burrus, infant grandson, Shanan Bolger.
The family extends special thanks to Bud's nurses and the staff of Gentiva Hospice in Tuscon, especially Brian and Maria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
