Jon Charles Granger

Jon Charles Granger, an all-around good dad, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 16, 2023. Jon, 57, of Charlotte, was born on October 13, 1965, in Charlotte, the son of Wayne and Sally Granger. After graduating from Maple Valley High School, he continued his education in Trade School obtain a degree as a Mechanic. Jon's passion for working on cars led to him working as a mechanic his entire life. In his younger years drag racing was his passion, the weekly trips to Stanton for the races with his father, and son were the highlight of his week. He was also very active in coaching his children throughout their sports careers. Later in life it was his grandchildren that he wouldn't miss a sporting event for. Jon also enjoyed taking his grandchildren fishing.
Jon is survived by his children, Brandon Granger, Amber Granger, and their mother, Sherry Granger; grandchildren, Uriah, Andre, Brayden, Waylon, and Jasper; siblings, Gene Granger, Jeff Granger, Brian Bonnie, and Dennis Bonnie; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Marvin Granger; and his sister, Andrea Ward.
