Jon Whiting

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a remarkable man, Jon Ridgeway Whiting, who departed this life on July 21, 2023. Jon was born in Brockton, MA, on August 19, 1943.He was a supportive father, a dedicated friend, and an intelligent individual who devoted his life to the service of others.
Jon was a smart businessman with an unwavering dedication to his work. His career in food distribution spanned over a few decades, during which he made a profound impact on his work family. He was known for his unmatched ability to provide for his family, a trait that earned him great respect and admiration. Jon's love for sports, particularly Patriots and Red Sox games, was contagious. He had a unique way of making these games an exciting family affair that will be dearly missed.
Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Mable Whiting, his wife Lydia Whiting along with his eldest grandson James Whiting who we also lost January 20, 2023. He leaves behind his loving son, Andrew Whiting, who will continue to honor his father's legacy. Jon was a loving soul whose kindness, generosity, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was not just a man but a beacon of light that illuminated the lives of many.
