Jonas Dale LeShore, 23, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022. He was born August 11, 1999, at Hutchinson Hospital, to Ronnie D. LeShore and Staci L. (Williams) LeShore.
Jonas was a member of First United Methodist Church, Lyons, KS. He graduated from Buhler High School in 2019. Jonas participated in Special Olympics since the age of nine and was on the Hutchinson Hawks team. He enjoyed bowling, volleyball, playing basketball, running track, and throwing the shot put. Jonas liked to play Farkle, Mexican Train Dominoes, playing on his PS4, going to movies, and eating nachos. He loved to attend sporting events and to watch his brother play basketball.
Jonas is survived by: his parents, Ronnie and Staci LeShore of Hutchinson; brother, Isaac LeShore; grandmother, Linda Williams; aunts, De (Mark) Hunt, Pat Hudson, and Carolyn Lucky; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Dale Williams; grandmother, Ceola Brown; and cousin, JaMarcus Lucky.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Lyons United Methodist Church, 101 S. Pioneer Avenue, Lyons, KS, with the Reverend Chris Lehew officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, Lyons, KS. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2022, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. The service can be viewed by going to the Lyons First United Methodist Church facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/LyonsFumc/) on the day of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to ResCare Southwind, or Lyons United Methodist Church Men, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

We heard today about the passing of Jonas. We remember good times of being at Special Olympics and seeing him participate and visiting with you folks and him as well. Nathan acknowledged his passing as well and we all would like to extend our sympathies our thoughts and our prayers during this time of loss may God give you courage for each new day.
