Jonathan Conway Bennett, born on May 20, 1970, in Covington, Louisiana, passed away on January 24, 2026, in the same town he called home throughout his life. He was a loving husband to his spouse, Deborah Lee, and a cherished son to his parents, James Carroll Bennett and Phyllis Ann Lee Bennett. Jonathan was also a devoted brother to Jason Chad Bennett and James Carroll Bennett Jr.
Jonathan enjoyed a variety of hobbies that reflected his love for the outdoors. He found joy in fishing, hunting, and archery, activities that brought him peace and happiness.
His family and friends will always remember Jonathan for his enthusiastic spirit and passion for the things he loved. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a profound impact on those he held dear.
A visitation will be held on January 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home located at 75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Jonathan will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
