I just found out that Jonathan had passed. We were very close in NYC in the 1990´s but lost touch when he moved to Maine. He was a wonderful colleague and friend. I´m very sorry he passed.

My heart is broken. I just heard of Jonathan's passing. He was such a wonderful person. He was a dear friend when I was in school and we spent many holidays together with my family. We reconnected in 2008 and it was as if no time had passed. The world has lost a brilliant, talented and beautiful soul.

Jonathan and I became friends in 1980 when we both lived in Manhattan. We shared an interest in theatre and books. Jonathan had a tremendous impact on my life. I have several books that I treasure that he gifted me with way back in the day. Jonathan was kind, intelligent, eccentric, and a wonderful friend.

I knew Jonathan through the Mason Public Library. He was a warm, wonderful person with a great knowledge of books. He made a great Santa Claus for the children or Mason. I miss him, and hope he is now in a place of joy and Light.

My heart breaks upon hearing of Jonathan. My prayers go out to his family at this very sad time. I didn´t know Jonathan personally, but I am new to the Káthe Kruse Collector´s Club and he always answered my many questions with such kindness and took the time to research and even send pictures. I know everyone will miss him, because I definitely will. He was always so generous with his knowledge of dolls and he did it in a way, that never made you feel stupid. I never knew him, but he made me feel like I did. Carol A. Aitchison

I will miss you so much my sweet friend. You were always so very kind and generous and ready to help anyone at any time. I loved hearing your stories about your students at school and loved seeing all the pictures you shared with us. You touched so many lives during your time here on earth. Your death has brought so many so much sadness. May God Bless you and may he make you one of his angels to help all of us who are left behind. Rest in Peace my dear friend. Picture below is of me, Jonathan and Kim at the Doll Circle of Indianapolis luncheon in 2021.

Dearest Jonathan, you were the best of the best person I´ve ever known. You always had a smile for me, chatting away on our love of the Edith Flack Ackley cloth dolls, Penny Wooden dolls, and my newest love of the Kathe Kruse dolls. You amazed me on your knowledge of all types of dolls, their history, etc. Always helping out and stepping up for us to cover for our guest speaker who was ill and not able to attend our doll luncheon in 2021; you did a great job as speaker and you had fun at our luncheon selling many items in the sales room. I´ll miss your sweetness and the twinkle in your eyes!! God´s blessings to you and your family. May His healing hand of light bring you peace.

I came to know of Jonathan through the Virtual Doll Convention and Rachel Hoffman and also Jonathan's YouTube channel. With him was a warm and engaging manner in his presentations, which were also filled with fascinating history. He gave us the chance to see the world of dolls through his perceptive eyes and this legacy is one to cherish. Thank you, Jonathan Green. You made the world a better place. Rest in peace, beautiful soul.

I will always love you, Jonathan. This is a photo of our first video together, and it sparked a years-long friendship. I´ll never stop honoring you in my doll life, and thinking of you in my other life. I choose to honor your legacy by taking care of dolls, trying my best, and enjoying life with my daughter. I´m sorry you missed visiting her as Santa for her 2nd birthday as we planned. I´m so sorry you´re gone and I hope you´re keeping my Mom company in Heaven.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jonathan´s passing. He helped our Letitia Penn Doll Club every time we needed him and aided us in his very generous way. He shared his knowledge and love for dolls with all, even driving hours to visit doll clubs large and small. Most importantly he made us feel as if we were cherished friends. His special smile brought warmth to all around him. The world has lost a wonderful, kind man. My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones. May the angels welcome Jonathan to paradise. His loving memories will shine down on us for the rest of our lives.
