Jonathan Griffin Obituary

He was born in Sylacauga, Alabama, and raised in Clay County. He was a mechanic by trade, and spent his time tinkering on small engines, cars, lawn mowers and weed eaters. He also enjoyed fishing in his spare time.
Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Emma Sue Griffin of Ashland; his son, Damien Wayne Griffin of Ashland; two step-children: Bobby Hogan (Toni Hill) and Heather Harrell (Tommy), both of Talladega; five grandchildren; two sisters: Constance Davis and Kathy Smith, plus other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Delmar Austin Griffin and Avice Williams Griffin; one brother, Austin Ogle; and two sisters: Iris Bailey and Patricia Ogle.
