A son of the late Andrew and Vernie Burns Johnson, he was born February 22, 1987, in Greenwood, South Carolina. He grew up in Habersham County and moved to Toccoa in 2010. He owned and operated J & J Trucking for several years. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved building model cars, hunting and driving his truck.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Griffin Johnson; his children, Blaine Trachessett, Mavia Nichole Seymour, Evan Pledger, Adelle Howell and Jasmine Pledger; several brothers and sisters.
A private memorial service will be held later.
Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Jonathan Edward Johnson.

Im so sorry to hear of his passing. It seems like yesterday that I was tutoring him in his high school studies. He was a good friend of my children. I pray he is at peace and with the lord.
