Prayers and condolences to Jonathan's family, friends and the WilmU community. Jonathan will be truly missed. His contagious laugh and infectious smile. During our last encounter he encouraged me to pursue my doctorate and told me it wasn't too late. If Jonathan had a bad day, you would never know it because he was always positive. Rest easy my brother, I hope to see you again in eternity.

Jonathan made my time at Wilmington University so impactful. In my early 20´s I was so nervous to start the journey but he was there to help me along the way. He saw something inside of me that I did not see in myself and with that told me I would make a great student ambassador. I decided to go after it and the memories that came from it are something I´ll never forget. He will be truly missed by many

Over 15 years ago, I met a man through a job interview that I was a bit uneasy with. But through an unlikely connection of working together, superheroes and pro wrestling, I gained someone in my life that I was happy to call a friend. Over the 15 years I knew Jonathan we laughed, we cried and drove our supervisors nuts (LOL). But I will never forget the friendship that we had through it all. I will never forget the hours we would spend talking about dream matches, what ifs and the next superhero movie. I miss him dearly, but I am comforted to know he is in a much better place now. Rest Easy my friend and we will see each other again soon. By the way, feel free to stop by on Monday nights (LOL).

It is hard to believe that our dear Jonathan is no longer with us. Our most recent encounter was at the WilmU 2025 commencement exercises, where we shared a few laughs. I miss you already, dear friend! You are/were a ray of sunshine and a joy to be around. Rest in peace, and we will meet again!

It´s hard to put into words the loss we feel with the passing of our dear colleague and friend, Jonathan. Whenever you walked in Wilmington University Dover Site, Jonathan always greeted everyone with a warm smile, a quick joke, or a story that would leave you laughing. When I first started working at Wilmington University, he was always patient and willing to lend a helping hand. I will never forget the fun times helping Jonathan bake cookies or setting up the Christmas tree in the lobby. Jonathan made our days brighter, our jobs easier, and our workplace kinder. He will be greatly missed!

He was a man with a big smile and a big heart. I know him from Toastmasters and his work with the Wilm U club. Jonathan had infectious enthusiasm, creativity and a zeal to help. He will be greatly missed but he will live on through all the goodness he brought to others.

Jonathan had this easy way with students and they really gravitated toward him. He could make them laugh, get them thinking, and always made whatever activity he was leading actually feel fun and meaningful. He was super creative and had a great sense of humor to get you through the work day. He was willing to listen and give advice. Every time I would see him he would always ask us how was our weekend or what did we do that weekend. He will definitely be missed here at the Dover Site. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this time.
